The account verification status helps users distinguish verified accounts of famous people. Verified accounts receive a blue confirmation icon next to the public name. This icon shows that the page is real, and helps other users distinguish your account on the network.
Note. Account verification is not for sale and has no additional paid options. Avoid scammers who offer to help verify your account for money. The My Media Library Bot project (hereinafter referred to as the "Media Bot") has the right to revoke the confirmed status of such accounts.
Get the confirmation icon
To get verified status, you need to meet the following requirements:
1 - Publicity
1. You have a public verified account on one of the social networks:
- VKontakte
- TikTok
- Odnoklassniki
- YouTube (you are the author or presenter of the channel)
2. You have more than 100,000 followers on one of the social networks:
- VKontakte
- TikTok
- YouTube (you are the author or presenter of the channel)
3. You have at least three media interviews.
You need to match any two items. In some cases, even if you meet these requirements, you may be denied verification.
2 - Verified Telegram account
- You have a Telegram account that you use publicly and it has a verified status.
- In your account settings, you have specified your real photo, as well as the public name by which you are known.
3 - Verification request
To submit a request, fill out the form.
The application must be filled in correctly: the application contains your photo with the main page of your passport or driver's license. You and the document should be clearly visible in the photo, and your photo, first name, last name and date of birth should be clearly distinguishable on the document. You will receive a notification that the application has been accepted.
The verification takes 30 days. Do not send more than one application, wait for the results. If the application is rejected, you will be able to submit it again 30 days after sending the previous one.
If the application is approved, your previous and new publications, reviews, comments, etc. will be signed with a public name, and an icon will appear next to it.
Note. So far, not all Media Bot services show a confirmation icon next to the public name.
Change the public name
Users of verified accounts cannot change their public name themselves. If you have received a confirmed status and want to change your public name, contact support.
To abandon the verified status
You can opt out of the verified account status and all related restrictions at any time. To do this, contact the support service.
Verification review
The verification status can be revoked if:
- there are two verified accounts of the same famous person;
- we have detected suspicious activity, for example, the account is managed by a third party without the owner's knowledge;
- the terms of use of the services have been violated.
